D<\/SPAN>ominican President Leonel Fern\u00e1ndez, received US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton at a special dinner at the National Palace in the Dining Room on the third floor. <\/P> Clinton had a very full schedule and many activities to attend during her 24-hour visit to the DR, among which was a meeting with Dominican President Fern\u00e1ndez. <\/P> Hillary Clinton arrived in the Dominican Republic on Thursday at 6:35 p.m. at the Las Americas International Airport then went to the National Palace at 8:57 p.m. <\/SPAN> Upon her arrival at the National Palace, Mrs. Clinton was received by an official commission made up of Foreign Minister Carlos Morales Troncoso, Secretary to the President, C\u00e9sar Pina Toribio; Minister of Economy, Planning and Development, Juan Tem\u00edstocles Mont\u00e1s; Administrative Secretary, Luis Manuel Bonetti, and the Protocol Staff of the Government House, according to the President\u2019s Office of Information, Press and Publicity.<\/SPAN><\/SPAN> Clinton had a very full schedule and many activities to attend during her 24-hour visit to the DR, among which was a meeting with Dominican President Fern\u00e1ndez. <\/SPAN> In addition to President Fern\u00e1ndez and First Lady Margarita Cede\u00f1o de Fern\u00e1ndez, others attending the dinner included Dominican Vice President Rafael Alburquerque and members of the official commission who received Clinton at the Government House.
