T<\/SPAN>he Dominican American National Roundtable (DANR) is pleased to announce its agenda for its 6th Annual “Dominicans On The Hill Day” in Washington, DC. Dominicans On The Hill Day is an opportunity for members of the community to interact face-to-face with member of the United States Congress as well as administration leadership. <\/P>

“We will be advocating with members of Congress about the importance of comprehensive immigration reform, support for improved education for our youth including higher education, access to healthcare…”<\/P>
\n

“We will be advocating with members of Congress about the importance of comprehensive immigration reform, support for improved education for our youth including higher education, access to healthcare, civil rights legislation, and economic opportunities for our community,” said Victor Capellan, National President of the DANR. “Additionally, we will be calling on members of Congress to support DANR’s advocacy before the United States Census to assure that all Dominican Americans are properly counted in 2010 so that the massive undercount of the 2000 Census is not repeated.”
