W<\/SPAN>ith the hope of doubling last year\u2019s Book Fair attendance, which exceeded 140,000 people per day, the 11th International Book Fair of Santo Domingo 2008 opened on Monday. This year\u2019s Fair is dedicated to historian Emilio Rodr\u00edguez Demorizi, the most widely published Dominican writer. <\/P> The 476 publishers, set up in their book stalls along the paths and green areas of Culture Plaza, are prepared to receive visitors of all ages and backgrounds. <\/P> According to Book Fair Director, Alejandro Arvelo, this year\u2019s Fair is sure to exceed those of years\u2019 past, not only in attendance but in the quality of the event as well as the ample promotion of culture and participation of the literary sector. The 476 publishers, set up in their book stalls along the paths and green areas of Culture Plaza, are prepared to receive visitors of all ages and backgrounds.
