E<\/SPAN> Dominican Painter Enriquillo Amiama is showing his latest collection of work at the Gallery Bellarte in Seoul, South Korea throughout the month of April. The collection of 20 pieces of a variety of formats displays the main thematic structures of his newest productions. <\/P> Jong K. Kim, director of Bellarte, and the gallery curators have expressed great enthusiasm for Enriquillo\u2019s painting which they believe will be warmly welcomed in the Asian market. This one-man show is meant to promote Amiama\u2019s art prior to the Korea International Art Fair, KIAF 2008, the largest of its kind in Korea. The art fair will take place next October. Enriquillo recently made a series of paintings inspired by his favorite artist, Jasper Johns, one of the most influential American painters alive. Johns recently wrote an article praising Enriquillo Amiama\u2019s work.
