D<\/SPAN>ominican poets Mateo Morrison and Jos\u00e9 M\u00e1rmol will represent the Dominican Republic at the First International Poetry Festival of Puerto Rico being held at the Inter-American University\u2019s Metropolitan Campus between March 24-29. The event is dedicated to poet Juan Antonio Corretjer on the centennial of his birth. <\/P>

Puerto Rican poets participating in the event include Guillermo Guti\u00e9rrez, Loreina Santos Silva, Lillian P\u00e9rez Marchand… <\/STRONG><\/SPAN><\/P><\/DIV>Works by Mateo Morrison, current Executive Secretary of the National Council on Culture, include his recent literary productions: \u201cSpasms in the night\u201d (poetry) and his novel \u201cA Silence that Walks\u201d. M\u00e1rmol, TV producer and director, will present \u201cConversations in the Cathedral.\u201d
