The murals will be permanent and also serve as a symbol of solidarity and brotherhood between the Dominican Public and Puerto Rico. <\/SPAN><SPAN lang=EN-US><BR><BR>This activity is also meant to pay homage to Do\u00f1a Ruth Basallo, the dedicated organizer&nbsp;of joint Dominican-Puerto Rican cultural activities and who, for the past 30 years, has directed many special artistic events in Puerto Rico.&nbsp; &nbsp; <\/SPAN><\/DIV><br \/>\n<TABLE cellPadding=0 width=225 align=right border=0><br \/>\n<TBODY><br \/>\n<TR><\/TR><br \/>\n<TR><\/TR><br \/>\n<TR><\/TR><br \/>\n<TR><\/TR><br \/>\n<TR><\/TR><\/TBODY><\/TABLE><BR><BR><br \/>\n<DIV><SPAN lang=EN-US><\/SPAN><SPAN lang=EN-US>The mural-painting exhibition is part of various activities being carried out by the Dominican-Puerto Rican Foundation. In the Dominican Republic, journalist Fernando Pe\u00f1a presides over the foundation.
