




{"id":1927,"date":"2007-12-19T00:00:00","date_gmt":"2007-12-19T04:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.dominicana-online.org\/?p=1927"},"modified":"2007-12-19T19:15:32","modified_gmt":"2007-12-19T15:15:32","slug":"noti584","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.dominicanaonline.org\/en\/noti584\/","title":{"rendered":"Sectur Opens an Information Office"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><BR><br \/>\n<TABLE class=texto width=\"90%\" border=0><br \/>\n<TBODY><br \/>\n<TR><br \/>\n<TD vAlign=top width=70><IMG class=thinborderfloat1 border=0 alt=Sectur src=\"\/Portal\/noticias\/sectur_65.jpg\" width=65><\/TD><br \/>\n<TD vAlign=top width=7><BR><\/TD><br \/>\n<TD class=texto vAlign=top><STRONG>Sectur Opens an Information Office<\/STRONG><BR><BR>The Secretary of State for Tourism (Sectur) opened a Tourism Information Access Office (OAI) which will give citizens the opportunity to solicit information about projects underway by this sector in the Dominican Republic.<BR><BR>The Office will be coordinated by Epifania de la Cruz and will operate on the first floor of the Sectur offices, located on Mexico Avenue, corner with March 30th, Government Offices, D Block, according to a press release. <BR><BR>The opening of the OAI was carried out under the auspices of deputy administrative secretary of tourism, Ram\u00f3n Cruz Dison\u00e9 as well as the presidents of the National Commission of Ethics and The Fight Against Corruption, Jos\u00e9 Joaqu\u00edn Bid\u00f3 Medina and the National Council for State Reform Marcos Villam\u00e1n.<BR><BR>Flaubert Pe\u00f1a, consultant for the National Council for State Reform (CONARE) as well as the Information Department of Sectur, among other involved agencies.<BR><BR><STRONG>A Mandate Under Law<BR><\/STRONG><BR>The Information Access Office (OAI) is mandated by the Freedom of Public Information General Law No. 200-04 and the Decree No. 130-05 which has created this law with the objective of supporting organizations and individuals both public and private regardless of the information solicited. <BR><BR>The objective of this law is to sustain the values of honesty, integrity, efficiency, quality and team work on the part of Sectur while supporting the efforts of institutional transparency. <BR><BR>For more information about Sectur, citizens should fill out an application and the OAI will respond with any details that have been requested.
