American Eagle, the Tourism Promotion Office of the Dominican Republic in Puerto Rico and the Dominican Airports 21st Century (AERODOM) inaugurated the San Juan, Puerto Rico \u2013 Saman\u00e1 route with the arrival of Flight number AE 5046. Starting this week, the flight will be operated daily from the El Catey International Airport in Saman\u00e1. <\/P>

According to a memo from the airline company and the Secretary of Tourism, the flight was welcomed in the Catey terminal by Miguel Bezi, undersecretary for Tourism in Saman\u00e1. He was accompanied by Cosette Garc\u00eda, director of the Tourism Promotion Office of the Dominican Republic in Puerto Rico; Enrique Pacheco, director of the airport terminal; Mitoel Rosa of American Eagle and Ivette Negr\u00f3n, sales manager of the airline.
Mitoel Rosa, regional manager of American Eagle, said that for American Eagle \u201cit is an honor to be a part of history in the making for Saman\u00e1 and rest assured that this inauguration is just the first step in a continuous process of tourism development for the region.\u201d
