He made this announcement after a meeting with President of the Republic Leonel Fern\u00e1ndez, held in the National Palace.<\/P><br \/>\n<P>Ruiz said the President talked about the challenges facing the country in the coming year and the government\u2019s limited power to increase by 10% the municipal budgets.&nbsp;<\/P><br \/>\n<P>\u201cOf the few sectors we are going to increase in absolute terms of resource management in the 2008 budget, the local governments of this country are among them.
