Juan Luis Guerra chosen as the \u201c<\/STRONG>2007 Person of the Year\u201d<\/STRONG><\/P> The Latin Recording Academy has announced in a press release that it will honor the Dominican singer and songwriter Juan Luis Guerra as the \u201c2007 Person of the year\u201d in the context of a ceremony that precede the Latin Grammy Awards. <\/P> The artist will receive this special recognition at a concert and gala tribute dinner on November 7th at the 8th edition of the Awards in Las Vegas. His professional, cultural and philanthropic achievements have made him the recipient of this award, the Latin Academy stated.
