Red Bull \u201cCockfight\u201d (Batalla de los Gallos)<\/STRONG><\/P> \u201cRed Bull Cockfight\u201d is looking again for the best Dominican rapper to represent the country in the upcoming final which will take place in the month of October in Venezuela. <\/P> Hip Hop is going through one of its best times in the Dominican Republic. While more quality bands and solo singers are emerging, the already famous artists are also maintaining their places in the music world. With this background, it is understandable that \u201cRed Bull, Cockfight\u201d has becomes the long awaited hip hop event.<\/P> The expectations on the third edition of this event are increasingly high. The so called casting is getting ready. August marks the beginning of a journey that ends in September with the selection of the best Dominican MC. The second casting will take place in the city of Santo Domingo, on August 25th in \u201cLa Terminal\u201d (Av. Espa\u00f1a #78), at 7:00 pm. Like in Santiago, each improviser will have the opportunity to create verses in just minutes and be evaluated by a specialized jury who will pick the finalists.<\/P> The 16 best MCs will chosen at these events will compete for the first place in the great final contest on September 8th at the Boxeo Teo Cruz Coliseum. The first gathering will take place at the Cibao, where experts in improvisation from the northern region will present an individual \u201cfreestyle\u201d act with their best lyrics. The participants should go to the Centro de Recreo (C\/Benito Monci\u00f3n #20) in Santiago on Friday August 17th, starting at 6:00 pm.<\/P>
