Second Amistad Surf\/Fedosurf-USA Contest and Fourth Score Surf Contest 2007<\/STRONG><\/P> PRESS RELEASE<\/U><\/STRONG><\/P> Santo Domingo D.N August 6, 2007- The Dominican Surf Federation (FEDOSURF) is pleased to announce the 2nd Amistad Surf\/Fedosurf-USA contest and the 4th Score Surf Contest 2007 \u201cPlaya Guibia, Santo Domingo 2007\u201d which will take place on August 11th and 12th. <\/P> The best national surf athletes will meet at this tournament and will compete for the first places in different categories: Open Surfboard, Longboard, Bodyboard and Junior.<\/P> Participants come from Santo Domingo, Puerto Plata, Sos\u00faa, Cabarete, R\u00edo San Juan, Cabrera, Nagua, Barahona, Boca Chica and other regions of the Dominican Republic. <\/P> The Dominican finalists of this contest will compete against the North American surfing team of the IYI (International Youth Initiative) at a friendly encounter. The team of the winning country will be declared the champion. <\/P> The purpose of completing our surfing circuit is to define the contestants who will be part of the National Team that will represent the country at the upcoming Panamerican Surf Contest. Said tournament is organized by the Panamerican Surf Association (PASA), to which FEDOSURF belongs, and will take place in Iquique, Chile from November 12th to November 20th, 2007. The State Secretariat for Sports, Physical Education and Recreation (Secretaria de Estado de Deportes Educacion Fisica y Recreacion SEDEFIR) and the National District City Council (Ayuntamiento del Distrito Nacional A.D.N), invite all surf lovers and the public in general to the 2nd Amistad Surf\/Fedosurf-USA contest and the 4th Score Surf Contest 2007 \u201dPlaya Guibia, Santo Domingo 2007\u201d sponsored by IYI (International Youth Initiative). Admission id free and there\u2019ll be a life concert after the two-day event in addition to the video surf event on Saturday at 7:00 pm.<\/P>
