Sony Ericsson WTA Tour-UNESCO Fund for Gender Equality<\/STRONG><\/P> National Call for Project Ideas <\/EM><\/STRONG><\/P> The National Dominican Commission for UNESCO announces the national call for project ideas proposals that could be implemented through the Sony Ericsson WTA Tour-UNESCO Fund.<\/P> On November 2006, UNESCO and the Sony Ericsson Women\u2019s Tennis Association Tour (SE WTA Tour), the world’s premier sport for women, launched a new cooperation program to promote gender equality and foster women\u2019s leadership in all spheres of society. <\/P> The Fund\u2019s Directive Committee will analyze the ideas presented through the call for project ideas and will sponsor them depending on the funding available for the most promising and effective projects.
