Community Expo-Fair Opens in North Santo Domingo. They affirm that the event will energize the productive sectors of the community

The Patronato Pro Development of North Santo Domingo openedthe Third Inter-institutional Community Expo-Fair 2012 in North Santo Domingo,in which the Governor of the Province of Santo Domingo, Juan Frías, said that the Governor’s office will promote all initiatives that help energize the economy of the province.

The fair, which will remain open until December 16th, was dedicated to Governor Juan Frías, while Miguel Florentino was recognized for his contributions to the development of the municipality.

“During the three months that we have been in charge of the Governor’s office, we have been meeting with all the different communities in the municipality, because we are convinced that the only way to tackle the problems in the province is by reaching out to organized groups, which are the ones who have identified the most pressing problems in the municipality and, jointly,we could contribute to the solution,”the Governorsaid.

Mr. Miguel Florentino, community leader in this municipality, consideredthe fair as very positive because it allows many of the micro and small businesses to offer their products to the residents of the municipality at more affordableprices and under better terms.In turn, this helps revitalize the productive sectors of this communitybecause they offer their various products at the fair, he underlined.

Meanwhile, Township Councilman Ramón Altagracia, who is also a member of the organizing committee, said that the fair means progress for the productive sectors of the area, given that more than 30 companies, from micro to medium size companies such as real estate, industrial, commercial, crafts and agricultural,among others, participate.

The fair, which will remain open until December 16th, was dedicated to Governor Juan Frías, while Miguel Florentino was recognized for his contributions to the development of the municipality.

The expo is endorsed by the City Council of North Santo Domingo, the Governor’s office of the province of Santo Domingo, ProyectoSocio-ComunitarioTú Decides, the municipal board of La Victoria, the Patronato Pro-Development of North Santo Domingo, the firefighters and the municipality’s JournalistsUnion.
