The National Symphony Orchestra (OSN in Spanish) once again will delight classical music lovers Wednesday at 8:30 p.m. with its fourth concert of the 2012 symphony season in the Carlos Piantini Hall of the Eduardo Brito National Theatre.

The orchestra will also perform Beethoven’s “Eroica” Sympathy No. 2 in E flat major, Opus 55, including the movements Allegro con brío, the Funeral March (Adagio assai), Scherzo (Allegro vivace) and the finale (Allegro molto).

OSN Director José Antonio Molina will take the baton on this occasion for a program of moving concert selections including the Overture from the Marriage of Figaro of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart and the Concierto No. 2 in A minor for piano and orchestra, Opus 22, of Camille Saint-Saëns, including all three movements (Andante sostenuto, Allegro scherzando and Presto).

The orchestra will also perform Beethoven’s “Eroica” Sympathy No. 2 in E flat major, Opus 55, including the movements Allegro con brío, the Funeral March (Adagio assai), Scherzo (Allegro vivace) and the finale (Allegro molto).

Maestro Molina will be joined by the renowned Serbian pianist JasminaGavrilovich, who has appeared as a soloist since 1994 and has performed with the OSN under the direction of Carlos Piantini, Álvaro Manzano and Iván del Prado.
