		Executive Power Announces Budget Law On Thursday, Dominican President Leonel Fernández announced and put into force the Budget Revenue 15-08 Law and the Public Spending Law for this year. The president also unveiled the National Budget, after being approved by Congress, which is to be 300,809,000,000 pesos, according to the Presidential Office of Information, Press and Publicity. The Budget Revenue and Public Spending Law was approved by the Chamber of Deputies last Wednesday following its approval by the Senate. “I promulgate this law and send it to be published in the Official Gazette for it to be widely viewed and put into effect,” stated the document signed by President Fernández.
