Margaret Kent, author of the successful book, “How to Marry the Man of Your Dreams,” is visiting Santo Domingo once again. She will be giving a lecture “Intelligent Decisions When Looking for (and Keeping) the Man of Your Dreams.” Ms. Kent is here under the auspices of the Santillana Publishing Group.

Kent will touch on strategies women should follow if they are interested in entering into a satisfying marriage, which is made up of several basic steps including getting to know each other...

The activity will take place on Wednesday June 25, 2008 at 6:30 p.m. in the Pedro Mir Hall of the Cuesta Bookshop, a co-sponsor of the activity. At the end of the lecture, the floor will be open to questions and answers among the audience.

In her talk, Kent will touch on strategies women should follow if they are interested in entering into a satisfying marriage, which is made up of several basic steps including getting to know each other, going out on dates, choosing the most adequate partner, wedding preparation and maintaining a happy marriage. Other aspects of relationships that will be discussed in her talk include:

• Erroneous ideas men have about women and vice-versa.
• What to do if there is competition for his/her love.
• How the break the pattern of making wrong choices
• How to know if the person really loves you
• The best way to end a relationship

Ms. Kent will also sign copies of her book at the National Supermarket of the Bella Vista Mall, on Tuesday June 24 from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m.

From the end of the 1960s, Margaret Kent has been interested in the question of marriage after long conversations with many “marvelous” friends and acquaintances who wanted to get married but never managed to find their “soul mate.” A firm believer that good things don’t just happen by themselves, she began to systematize a method to meet marriageable men. Margaret Kent is an attorney in international law, taxes and incentives for exporters. She studied at Barry University, the Monterrey Institute of Technology and the University of Miami.
