Expanding the tourism market and promoting nontraditional tourism will begin on April 17 in Santo Domingo at one of the most important regional events in the sector, the Caribbean Tourism Bolsa (BTC). Well-known tourism and major cruise lines companies will attend the tourism fair this year.
The Cruise Ship Workshop will acquaint people with the companies’ itineraries and variety of offers.
The BTC’s 12th edition will take place between April 17-19 at the Renaissance Jaragua Hotel & Casino. Activities will be oriented toward the promotion of multi-destination and intraregional tourism and to increasing the numbers of non-traditional and low-season visitors.
Luis Felipe Aquino, BTC President, talked about the establishment of new attractions to be presented at this edition of the tourism fair. He pointed to the Negotiations Wheel which will facilitate ongoing interchange and direct contacts with representatives from businesses, tour operators and airlines, among others.
The Cruise Ship Workshop will acquaint people with the companies’ itineraries and variety of offers. The tourism investment area will be geared toward projection and sales of tourism real estate and will familiarize investors with various projects, rental villas and available beach property where their investments will enjoy profitable returns.
