The Golden @ Contest, the most important of its kind in the United States and Latin America which recognizes websites contributing to the development of the Internet Industry, has a team of some 50 experts from 17 countries who evaluate the participating websites under the observation of the BDO International auditing firm.
The president of Golden @ International, Fabrizio Altamirano explained at the ceremony the main elements that serve as a basis for judging the websites: design, navigation, content and creativity, each of which have three to five areas in which they are evaluated. The Golden @ Contest began in El Salvador in 2001 and is based on strategic alliances between communication and media leaders in each country.
