The book “The Generation Gap: Toward a Renovation of Hope” by Milton
Morrison will be launched in New York City on August 7 at 7:30 p.m. at the
Caliope Bookstore on Dyckman Street in Washington Heights. The following
Saturday, Mr. Morrison will give a press conference on the challenges facing
young people in the age of globalization.
Morrison proposes a system of political parties based on programmatic commitments tied to a national development agenda agreed upon by representatives from various sectors of society and national life.
This activity will take place at 7:00 p.m. in the Dominican Cultural Commission
located on 145th St. between Broadway and Amsterdam Avenues in Upper Manhattan.
The author has proposed a series of proposals, among other social commitments,
that should be assumed by every Dominican in an effort to improve the
country’s political party system and quality of life.
In addition, he argues for a strengthening of participative democracy to
include all sectors of national life, ensuring equality, collective well-being
and respect for law and institutions. Morrison proposes a system of political
parties based on programmatic commitments tied to a national development agenda
agreed upon by representatives from various sectors of society and national
life.
