With a network of highways that allows its visitors to arrive to all tourist zones and natural parks of the country, the Dominican Republic offers the opportunity to journey into its hidden country sides in collective transportation or in rented automobiles.

Accredited bus companies offered services to the North, South, East and West of the country. Also, car rental companies guarantee efficient services in various cities in the four directions. The principal cities of the country and the air terminals have offices from which the visitor can rent various types of vehicles.

Local air lines also permit quick transportation to different points of the country. Santo Domingo, Puerto Plata, La Romana, Punta Cana, Samaná, Barahona and Santiago are connected through air routes established by local companies with years of experience.

Helicopter service is also included as an option for air transportation. Business, tourism and health emergency trips can be made to any location in the country by this mode of transportation.

Air emergency services supply airplanes as well as helicopters with experienced, specialized personnel.
